“Compass Rose” original painting

“Compass Rose” 2020 acrylic on wood 6”x6” 

I created this painting as an intentional act of magic to bring balance and direction to the world of the buyer and the world at large in this time of uncertainty.

the yellow and red tetrahedrons represent polarity in an infinite spiral of connectivity - the world in balance even when it doesn’t feel that way. While we can judge certain times as good or bad, it’s a continuum of experience that is always just right. Another way to look at it is that the through the “bad” times, the “good” incubates and emerges as a whole new world that could never have been were it not for the trials and transformation. A compass rose is the key on a map that points out the cardinal directions so you can make sense of the terrain. This one in particular points in all directions, for when the map isn’t making sense, when you don’t know what direction to go, follow your heart and you’ll always find the right path. May we all, together, find our way through this and all other challenges.
