Tree of Knowledge

In "Tree of Knowledge" a caterpillar eats of the leaves of this hybrid entheogenic tree, readying itself for the metamorphosis into a moth. In this painting, the moth symbolizes the initiated individual, whose heart and mind have been transformed by the wisdom of the plant (symbolized by the blue diamonds) upon wings of grace, flighting into the mysterious depths of the night and heights of heaven.
