“Mycelia” original painting

“Mycelia” acrylic on paper mounted to cradled board 14”x14” 2019

This painting depicts a being of utmost benevolence out from which all good things spread through throughout the universe. I call her Mycelia, both for the mushrooms that acted as gatekeeper to the vision but also for the fact that she is the ever present and all pervading “hive mind” of goodness - Like the mycelium which unites the forest like synaptic connections in the brain.
